Site Agent / Project Manager (Site Investigation)

Today we are one of the reputable firms in providing civil, structural, geotechnical and structural instrumentation, environmental service and laboratory testing to a wide variety of clients in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, including many Government departments, private developers, architects and planners, utility companies, oil and gas companies, contractors and other consulting engineering firms.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of assigned projects from the handover of tender through to final payment;
• Develop commercial relationships with clients and suppliers;
• Measure work carried out, prepare invoices or applications for payment, resolve measurement and contractual disputes;
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments and health and safety documentation, and direct safety on site;
• Produce regular progress reports and net revenue forecasts within agreed timescales;
• Provide technical inputs to tenders/proposals wherever necessary ;
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned. 

Job Requirements

• Degree or above in Geology, Earth Science, Civil Engineering., Geotechnical Engineering or related disciplines;
• Preferably Works Bureau approved Geologist, Geotechnical Engineer, Site Agent or corporate membership of relevant professional institution(s);
• Extensive experience in Ground Investigation or geotechnical/civil engineering in a contractor setting;
• General understanding of accounts and commercial principles;
• Capable of working on own initiatives to produce innovative solutions to challenges and problems;
• A good team player with excellent project management and people management skills;
• Excellent in spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
