Senior System Engineer

About the Role:

• Act as a team leader to manage and monitor the company and client’s network, where you will produce, peer-review, and maintain high-level and low-level technical documentation and network schematics
• Design, deploy and support infrastructure include Servers, Network, Storage, dockers, Kubernetes, services gateway
• Provide technical support to the business and resolve incidents in a timely manner
• Utilise monitoring platforms such as Nagios, ELK, Grafana, Zabbix, SIEM and NDR servers
• Oversee relationships with third parties who provide network support
• Manage vendor contracts and licenses to ensure all enterprise infrastructure is maintained and supported.
• Support the delivery of infrastructure Architectures/Strategies as part of a broader Enterprise and IS/IT Architecture
• Evaluate emerging technologies and deliver proof-of-value environments to support business needs
• Identify and mitigate technology and service risks
• Perform BAU activities such as software upgrades, certificate management, system and network utilization report
• Maintain the network infrastructure healthy
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support
• Provide operation and maintenance supports
• Monitor and maintain system performance
• Networking - Network setup and administration (firewall, VPN, VLAN, wireless AP, etc.)

About You:

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Holder of CCNA, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CSX-F, CSX-P qualification is preferable
• At least five years’ work experience in server and network administration, computer technical support
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Experience of working with enterprise technologies, such as network monitoring tools, centralized authentication (ISE), 802.1x, VPNs, firewall/certificate management, firewall, network equipment configuration and maintenance
• Experience with Network solution such as Huawei, H3C, Aruba, Cisco, Rujee
• Experience with Firewall and security solution such as FortiGate, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco, H3C, Huawei, Sangfor, Hillstone
• Experience with hypervisor technology such as VMWare, zStack, HyperV, Inspur
• Experience with HCI Solutions such as Huawei, H3C, Nutanix, SmartX
• Experience with storage solutions such as NetApp, Dell, HPE, Huawei
• Experience with Docker solutions
• Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam, Vinchin, Anybackup, Apex
• Experience with network monitor and management tools such as Nagio, ELK, Grafana, Zabbix, ManageEngine,
• Familiar with Software Defined technologies such as SD-WAN
• Awareness of current trends and developments in information technology.
• Ability to own and manage incidents and communicate effectively with other business stakeholders during outages.

• Aggressive, discipline, excellent communication skills, able to present ideas and solutions to all stakeholders in simple terms
