Senior Sales Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales:

1. Greet every customer with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
2. Provide exceptional, personalized customer service to create a memorable shopping experience.
3. Actively listen to customer needs and make expert product recommendations to drive sales and increase basket size.
4. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset.

Operations:

1. Operate the cash register efficiently, process transactions accurately, and handle returns and exchanges according to company policy.
2. Maintain the store's visual standards by re-folding merchandise, restocking shelves, and ensuring the sales floor is always tidy and presentable.
3. Assist in receiving new merchandise shipments, unpacking, tagging, and preparing items for the sales floor.
4. Help execute daily and weekly merchandising directives under the guidance of the management team.
5. Uphold store security procedures and loss prevention guidelines.

Teamwork:

1. Collaborate effectively with team members and management to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
2. Share product knowledge and fashion trends with the team and customers.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided. Experience in a fast-paced retail or customer service environment is a plus.
2. A passion for fashion and a keen interest in current trends.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
5. A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to multitask in a high-energy environment.
6. Basic math skills and comfort with using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
7. Team-oriented with a strong focus on collaboration.
