Senior Network Engineer

Our Insurance client is looking for a high calibre to join their Network Team as Senior Network Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, cloud connectivity)
• Lead network security initiatives including firewall management, VPNs, and network segmentation
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Migrate on-premise applications to cloud platforms with focus on network architecture
• Configure and troubleshoot network-related enterprise ICT components and services
• Implement and manage software-defined networking (SDN) in cloud environments, especially AWS
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across on-premises and cloud network infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network solutions for new projects
• Provide expert-level support for network issues and participate in on-call rotations

Key Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher Diploma or above in IT, Network Engineering, or related discipline
• 5-7 years' experience in infrastructure support with a focus on networking
• Hands on experience in routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and SD-WAN
• Proficient in Windows/Linux server environments and cloud networking (AWS)
• Experience with network automation, orchestration, and container networking (Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Jira
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience in the financial industry
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty or equivalent
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS certifications
