Senior Merchandiser - Cookware

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage new product developments RFQ and sourcing for the respective category
• Proactively offer solutions to new product development hurdles and constantly offer new product ideas to the US counterpart
• Drive and achieve yearly cost savings goals by negotiating best cost and sourcing best supplier
• Ensure first shipment ship on time with regulatory compliance, correct artwork and meet the quality requirements
• Be the key negotiator to achieve key PO ship dates and price points
• Be the intermediary among Headquarters, vendor and internal departments
• Perform tasks as assigned by the company and manager

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of merchandising experience in Cookware and 8 years of overall merchandising & sourcing experienceHigher Diploma or above from Business Administration, or equivalent
• Solid foundation of cookware production process
• Well-organized, detailed-oriented, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility
• Proactive, quick response and great team spirit
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Good command of both written and oral English, Mandarin & Cantonese
• Occasional business travels to China, Southeast Asia or other overseas countries
• Great technical foundation knowledge of Cookware and kitchenware products will be a PLUS
• Experience and knowledge of USA Cookware & Kitchenware market will be a GREAT advantage
