Senior Mechanical Engineer /Mechanical Engineer (Fresh graduate is welcome)

The role of Mechanical Engineer is highly challenging, requiring a combination of in-depth technical expertise in electronics manufacturing and strong empathetic communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill client requirements and resolve technical issues, including mechanical construction, artwork design, and tooling.
2. Develop structural designs and create detailed engineering drawings, considering material selection, reliability, safety requirements, manufacturing processes, functionality, and unit cost to meet product specifications.
3. Take responsibility for critical parts and material sourcing.
4. Communicate directly with clients to confirm product specifications, feasibility, and technical design inquiries.
5. Work closely with PIE, Production, and Quality departments during pilot runs and mass production to ensure a smooth transition from product design to manufacturing.

Product Lifecycle Development:

• Lead end-to-end development of new products, from requirements analysis and structural design to validation testing and mass production introduction.
• Drive design optimization and continuous improvement of existing products to enhance performance and manufacturability.

Engineering Development:

• Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs.
• Participate in DFMEA analysis and engineering change (ECN) management.
• Design product silk-screen schemes and packaging solutions.

Mold Development Management:

• Participate in plastic mold design reviews and trial mold follow-ups.
• Lead mold validation, optimize injection molding processes, and improve production yield.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Interface directly with European and US client technical teams to understand requirements and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality departments to resolve technical issues during manufacturing.
• Support supplier technical development to ensure component quality and delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in the Electronic Design Industry; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks; knowledge of CorelDraw is a plus.
• Understanding of safety requirements and international standards (e.g., CE/UL).
• Experience in product development, with familiarity in plastic/metal/electronic material properties and processes.
• Exposure to production line operations is advantageous.
• Experience in full-cycle mass production projects, from mold development to production launch, is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to our Shenzhen R&D office and Dongguan manufacturing plant.
