Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive IT audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps

  • Conduct and evaluate IT security measures, identifying and responding to potential threats

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT systems and operations align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, risks, and security incidents, and present recommendations to senior management

  • Be committed to act with the firm’s core values and competency expectations

  • Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related discipline

  • At least 6 - 8 years of experience in IT audit, financial audit or related fields for the post of Senior Manager

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Manager

  • Solid experience in IT audit for clients in insurance, banking, securities and/or other financial services sector is a prerequisite

  • Experience gained  with major international accounting firms is preferable

  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CIA or equivalent, are preferred

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • A good and effective team player

  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua

  • Be passionate for providing exceptional quality service and striving for exceeding clients’ expectations
