Senior Buyer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing market update
• Keeping up with market trends, to assist products category are developed in the correct direction
• Closely monitoring assign product’s category and its market price to make sure we are at our most combative on all across channel included our ecommerce platform
• Assemble and execute plans for seasonal brand assortment to meet the company’s business objective
• Products sourcing and sell-thru analysis
• Liaise with suppliers on order placing efficiency and ensure appropriate levels of stock of designated product categories are maintained
• Work closely with marketing team and other counterparts to maximize sales performance of responsible category
• Cultivate and maintain partnership relationship with suppliers
• To assist other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree holder with minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience
• Solid experience in branded merchandise buying, replenishment and merchandise consolidation
• Strong business sense with excellent negotiation, interpersonal, numerical and analytical skills
• Experience in SAP systems is a plus     
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP and other formula functions) 
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Purchasing Manager  
• Immediate availability preferred
