The appointee will provide all-round secretarial support to the Head/Deputy Head of the Department, including managing the Head's/Deputy Head's schedule, handling written correspondence, travel arrangements and other documentations on behalf of the Head/Deputy Head. The appointee will also provide secretarial and logistic support to departmental committees and meetings, including meeting scheduling, committee logistics support and preparation of necessary documents and correspondence. In addition to providing secretarial support, the appointee is responsible for handling personnel-related matters of faculty, including assisting in faculty recruitment process, faculty reviews and maintaining faculty personnel records; providing logistics support for recruitment-related functions, department events and guests; organizing workshops and activities; handling general departmental administrative duties and enquiries, as well as performing any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head/Deputy Head and committee chairs.
Applicants should possess an associate degree or higher diploma, preferably a bachelor's degree, with at least 3 years of relevant secretarial / administrative experiences. Experience in the tertiary education sector is an advantage. The appointee should be highly proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese; detail-oriented; self-motivated with excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and multi-tasking skills; and able to work independently and in a team, with high flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
