Secondary Teacher – English Language & Literature (starting from August 2026)

We are seeking to appoint two experienced and high calibre English Language & Literature teachers to join our Secondary & Diploma Programme section. The successful candidates should look forward to delivering the highest quality of learning in a stimulating, happy and safe environment.

At the School, we sincerely believe that all subject teachers are role models of character and values. Their work extends beyond the subject classroom. As such, we expect teachers to engage students in character and values education, as well as participating in our vibrant student leadership culture in the school.

The ideal candidates would preferably have experience in teaching IGCSE English Language and World Literature, and/or IBDP English Language & Literature subjects.

Requirements:

• Possess an undergraduate Degree in English Language and Literature or related discipline, along with a recognised teacher qualification (i.e. Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent)
• Have at least 3 years of experience teaching IGCSE English Language and World Literature, and/or IBDP English Language & Literature subjects will be preferred
• Speak English at a native level
• Collaborate well with colleagues on curriculum and resource development matters, as well as contribute to other department and school needs when required
• Have a strong commitment and passion for students, education & English
