Sea Operation Clerk/ Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sea Operation Clerk/ Officer to join us. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in supporting our import freight and logistics operations, ensuring seamless customer service and efficient cargo handling.

What you'll be doing

• Manage export and import shipment operation and liaise with customers, customs, and other parties to ensure timely clearance and delivery
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests related to shipments in a professional and responsive manner
• Maintain accurate records and database of shipment information
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operation processes and customer service
• Assist with any other administrative tasks as required to support the operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, sea operation will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of sea documentation and operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers and internal teams
• Proficient in data entry, record-keeping, and using relevant software applications
• Ability to work independently well under pressure and meet timelines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good command of written (Chinese & English) and spoken in (English and Mandarin)
• Less experience will be also considered
