Sea Freight Manager

About the role

As the Sea Freight Manager at Profit Sail Int'l Express (H.K.) Ltd', you will be responsible for overseeing the company's sea freight operations in the Kwai Fong, Kwai Tsing District location. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of freight and cargo services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the company's sea freight operations, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring shipments
• Liaise with clients, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight
• Analyse and optimise sea freight processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Oversee the performance of the sea freight team, providing guidance and support as needed
• Identify and implement new technologies, processes, and strategies to enhance the company's sea freight capabilities
• Monitor industry trends and regulations, and ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws and standards

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a sea freight management or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry
• Comprehensive understanding of sea freight operations, including shipping, customs clearance, and cargo handling
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders
• Proficiency in using relevant software and technology tools for freight management and logistics
• Proven track record of freight processes and improving operational efficiency
