The Opportunity:
Are you eager to launch your career in international B2B sales within the luxury goods industry? We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to support the growth of our European market. In this role, you will learn the intricacies of international jewellery sales from our experienced team, assisting in managing key accounts and developing new business. Key Responsibilities:
Develop European Market Strategy: Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies for the European region by preparing presentations, reports, and market analysis
Client Relationship Support: Help build and maintain strong relationships with European partners by providing timely support, managing communication, and ensuring client satisfaction under the guidance of senior management.
Coordination & Communication: Act as a key liaison between European clients and our internal teams in Hong Kong (e.g., production, marketing), ensuring clear communication of requirements and smooth project coordination.
Sales Pipeline: Act as the crucial first point of contact in the sales pipeline through research, outreach, qualifying leads against predefined criteria, scheduling appointments, and updating customer information.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Provide insightful and actionable feedback from the European market to inform product development and marketing strategy. Monitor European trends and competitor activity, and identify potential areas for growth.
International Representation: Represent Nelson Jewellery at major trade exhibitions and industry events, enhancing brand visibility and market penetration.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market opportunities for management review.
Key Requirements:
Experience: This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience. A strong interest in sales, client relations, or the jewellery/luxury sector is essential. Any prior experience in a customer-facing role is a plus
Language Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory. Proficiency in an European language (Spanish, Italian, or French) is a strong advantage.
Business Acumen: A keen learner with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to collaborate effectively in a team and a genuine interest in understanding European business culture is important.
Core Capabilities:Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. A detail-oriented, proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional standard.
Autonomy & Drive: A self-motivated and results-oriented attitude, with the willingness to take initiative on assigned tasks, proactively discover new opportunities, and manage your own workload effectively.
Travel: Must be willing and able to undertake frequent business trips to Europe (approximately 3-6 trips per year).
