Responsibilities:
 

• Develop applications and create reports in accordance with user and business requirements.
• Test and deploy applications.
• Provide application support for existing applications, including troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, data patching and handling ad-hoc user queries.
• Identify incidents and participate in problem management resolution by collecting and tracking data and progress.
• Work with other developers, external vendors, and infrastructure team to resolve any application issues.
• Develop technical documentation and create user manual.
• Handle cyber security when required.
• Participate in DRP and BCP.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:
 

• Bachelor Degree or High Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Programming, IT or equivalent.
• Welcome fresh graduate.
• 1 year or more experience in web application development, like PHP, Java, or similar development platforms, will be an advantage.
• Experience in database management (such as MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle and PL/SQL), Microsoft Power Platform (such as Power Pages, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate), WeChat mini program development and WordPress would be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of relational database concept and knowledge of SQL queries.
• Knowledge of PHP programing and CakePHP web frameworks preferred.
• Knowledge of web programming in Java also preferred.
• Good writing and communication skills in Cantonese and English. Advantage if proficient in other Asian languages like Mandarin, Korean.
• Self-motivated team player and demonstrating passion in application development.
• Creative and able to work independently.
