Publishing Designer / Assistant Publishing Designer

Founded in 1961, Sun Ya Publications (HK) Limited is one of the largest children’s publishers in Hong Kong. We are looking for high caliber individual for the following position:

Publishing Designer/Assistant Publishing Designer

Job Duties: 

• Handling Chinese and English typesetting, including amendment and output of files as requested.
• Designing promotional materials for our publications.
• Communicate, liaise and partner with staff members and other departments to complete the project in accordance with pre-negotiated time constraints and deadline.

Job Requirements: 

• Form 5/DSE/VTC graduate or above.
• Experience in graphic design field for children’s book or children-related products/services. Candidates with less experience can be considered as Assistant Publishing Designer.
• Familiar in MAC operation and proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
• Experiences of children’s book illustration is desirable.
• With passion to explore creativity through interactive media.
• Strong art sense, creative mind, responsible and hardworking.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill.
