About the role
The Islamic Union of Hong Kong is seeking a Publication Officer to join our team in our Wan Chai office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and distribution of our organization's publications, playing a key part in sharing our mission and values with the community.
What you'll be doing
- Managing the end-to-end publication process, from content curation to final print and digital distribution
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to develop publication schedules and ensure timely delivery
- Liaising with external vendors such as designers, printers and distributors to ensure high-quality outputs
- Monitoring publication performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Contributing editorial and creative input to enhance the impact and appeal of our publications
- Providing administrative support for the publications team as needed
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a publication or editorial role, ideally within the not-for-profit or media sectors
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and design
- Familiarity with publishing software (e.g. adobe illustrator, photoshop, canva) and a willingness to stay up to date with industry trends
