Project Officer

CODA Hong Kong is an accredited charitable organisation established in 2013. The mission and objectives of ‘We are One Deaf  Family’, aim to build a positive outlook on life and build a supportive community for Deaf children, taking advantage of their bilingual and bicultural sign language and bi-lingual identities. We provide mutual help groups, child and youth development, parent resource support, parenting education, individual and family counselling services, as well as sign language and interpreter training and public education for deaf children and their families. The Project Officer is responsible for coordinating and implementing our children and family service initiatives. 

• Planning and leading peer support groups to build a family support network
• Expanding partnerships and recruiting volunteers to assist with project activities
• Preparing funding proposals and reports, as well as developing new service projects
• Overseeing the planning, execution, and quality of the service initiatives

Position Requirements:

• A recognised diploma or above in social sciences, marketing or event planning.
• 2 years or more working experience, preferably in social welfare organisations/social services
• Good command of computer, written and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
