About the role
Are you an experienced project manager looking for an exciting new challenge? CYBER SYSTEM LIMITED' is seeking a talented project manager to join our dynamic team in both of our Hong Kong and Malaysia office. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing the development plan in the new market in Malaysia that are integral to the company's success.
What you'll be doing
- Design, implement and manage Malaysia project including budgets, timelines, and resources to keep initiatives on track
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues
- Ensure the business plan can fulfill all the requirements (costs, specifications and scope etc) and timeliness under the specific governmental project or programme designated to the Company
- Project risk management : Risk factors identification, design and implement mitigating factors and strategic planning, aiming to minimize the risk of delay and uncertainty
- Providing regular updates to management and stakeholders on project progress and milestones, problems facing and solutions suggested
- Continuously looking for ways to improve project management processes and drive efficiencies
- Willing and able to travel between Malaysia and Hong Kong so as to ensure the deadline of the project can be met
What we're looking for
Required Qualifications:
Educational Background:
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant experience in project coordination, retail operations, or management will be considered in place of formal education.
Experience:
At least 5+ years of professional experience in management roles, preferably in retail, operations, or cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience managing budgets, timelines, and team coordination.
- Familiarity with working on projects involving multiple stakeholders or regions is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Basic proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other task management software.
- Strong organizational skills for tracking progress, budgets, and deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools or project management software.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership abilities with a proven ability to lead teams or manage departments.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively under tight deadlines.
Knowledge:
General understanding of business operations in Malaysia and Hong Kong is desirable.
- Willingness to learn about governmental regulations and compliance requirements specific to the project.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies is advantageous but not mandatory.
Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Cantonese/Mandarin is an advantage but not essential.
Travel Requirements:
Willing and able to travel frequently between Malaysia and Hong Kong as per project timelines.
