Location: Chai Wan Office

Job Description:

●       Direct and monitor the daily accounting operation for various projects and assist the month-end closing activities.

●       Maintain accurate financial records for various projects

●       Manage and monitor payment process, cashflow and perform cashflow forecast

●       Perform financial analysis to identify red flags or areas of concern

●       Develop tailored reports to communicate different financial messages to various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and relevance.

●       Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for projects

●       Prepare financial reports and presentations for management review

●       Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial compliance and best practices

●       Assist of the implementation of ERP system

●       Good understanding of IFRS/HK GAAP

●       Perform ad-hoc reports/projects as assigned

●       Liaise with various stakeholders internally and external parties

Qualifications:

●       Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or Equivalent

●       Qualified CPA, with minimum 7 years of working experience (at least 3 years audit experience is a must)

●       Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in project accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role within a project-based environment
• Experience in the engineering or construction industry would be highly preferred
• Advanced analytical skills, with experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating abundant information accurately
• Ability to manage, monitor and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for projects
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting
• Ability to identify and flag potential financial risks or irregularities
• Big 4 auditing plus commercial experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
• Proactive, problem-solving and strong team player are essential attributes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders
