Job Description
The Project officer/ E&M engineer will be responsible for conducting research with R&D team, so as to design and develop the new state-of-the-art diagnostic/detection devices & kits with the highest design quality, formulating the product specification, and conducting the testing and data analysis for efficient production and high field reliability within committed product development schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conducting the diagnostic/detection devices & kits research, design and development with R&D team for the market needs
• Responsible for overall mechanical design of plastic tube, cartridge, device housing and associated mechanical sub-assemblies in future production;
• Coordinate with electronic engineers, software engineers and industrial designers to provide the product design with good manufacturability; then formulating the product/ system specification for compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Formulate and perform mechanical simulation and tolerant analysis, including the verification and validation testing, to optimize the package, material selection and assembly processes etc

Requirements

• Degree or Master in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or related discipline
• 5-8 years of relevant experience. Experience in high quality healthcare/medical packaging related products preferred
• Good experience in 3D CAD design and computer simulation techniques for mechanical structure design, stress management and thermal management
• Good knowledge on plastic molding, injection for manufacturing and problem solving techniques
• Ability to coordinate across departments, deal with uncertainty and willingness to accept challenging assignments
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving and project management skills
• Proficient in English and Chinese. Fluent Putonghua is preferred

• Work in HK and frequently traveling in CHINA
