Product Data Integrity Specialist

Job Summary

The Product Data Integrity Specialist ensures the accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of product listings data for a fast-paced live streaming e-commerce business using the Shopline platform. This role focuses on verifying data integrity across product details, pricing, and images, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet listing deadlines for seamless online and retail sales, supporting prompt dispatch from the Hong Kong hub for goods from suppliers. Working under supervision, the specialist conducts rigorous data audits, implements swift corrective actions, and ensures effective collaboration with teams. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Integrity and Verification:

  • Verify product data against supplier information for accuracy in titles, descriptions, pricing, and SKUs etc. for product listings.
  • Cross-check listings data, identifying discrepancies immediately.
  • Conduct frequent audits of listings and sales data to ensure error-free information across sales channels.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between listings and sales data, maintaining a single source of truth.
  • Update Shopline listings promptly upon detecting issues, minimizing sales disruptions.
  • Document corrective actions and notify supervisors of critical issues for transparency.

• Product Listings Creation and Timely Completion:

  • Create new Shopline listings, entering accurate details.
  • Update listings with current pricing or promotional details, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, procurement, logistics) to gather necessary data and ensure listings are completed on time to meet sales and promotional schedules.
  • Configure product variants (e.g., sizes, colors) with correct SKUs, aligning with team-provided timelines.

• Cross-Functional Coordination for Timely Listings:

  • Collaborate with marketing to align product listings with promotional campaigns and sales forecasts, ensuring timely availability.
  • Work with procurement and logistics teams to obtain and verify supplier data (e.g., SKUs, specifications) to meet listing deadlines.

• Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain records of data updates, audits, and corrective actions in Excel or Shopline’s export feature for supervisor review.
  • Generate reports on listing performance and data integrity metrics using Shopline’s Shoplytics or manual logs.
  • Document supplier data and coordination efforts for traceability.

• Process Optimization:

  • Follow SOPs for data entry, verification, and correction in Shopline.
  • Suggest improvements to data processes or coordination workflows (e.g., streamlined audits) under supervision

  • Participate in training to master Shopline’s features (e.g., bulk uploads) for efficient data management.
    

Qualifications and Skills

• Education:

  High school diploma or associate degree; bachelor’s in business, marketing, or e-commerce is a plus.

• Experience:

  2-5 years in e-commerce, data entry, or content management; familiarity with Shopline or similar platforms is a bonus.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking and verification.
  • Comfortable with Shopline’s admin panel (Products module).
  • Basic image editing skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is a plus.

• Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail for error-free listings and data integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing updates, audits, and cross-team coordination.
  • Effective communication for collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Proactive in correcting data issues and meeting deadlines.

• Language Skills:

  Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.

Work Environment

Location: Based at the HK hub and retail store

Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for evening or weekend work during live stream events, urgent shipments, or retail store restocking.

Conditions: Fast-paced environment requiring quick decision-making during high-demand sales periods. May involve light lifting or warehouse tasks.
