We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Merchandiser specializing in garment trims. This pivotal role will ensure the efficient and effective management of our procurement processes, from supplier coordination to inventory optimization, all while upholding our commitment to quality and compliance. You will be instrumental in keeping our operations running smoothly and contributing to our continued success in the vibrant garment accessories market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with existing garment trim suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries, adherence to specifications, and addressing any performance issues.
  • Oversee the entire purchase order lifecycle, including order placement, tracking, and expediting to meet production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels for various garment trims, forecast demand, and coordinate procurement activities to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Work closely with quality control to ensure all incoming goods meet our stringent quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier information, and contracts within SAP. Generate report to communicate key procurement information and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency enhancements within the procurement workflow.

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience in procurement or merchandising roles specifically within the garment trims industry.
  • Must have strong working knowledge and experience with SAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is also required.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage complex procurement scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese and good command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
