Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate educator who is committed to high quality teaching, creative and rigorous curriculum development, and positive education.
Reports To
- Founder and Head of School
- Vice Principal
- or any other person as the Company may decide
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Chinese Language Arts (CLA), Art, Music and/or PE for primary classes
- Assess individual student performance and document curriculum and learning
- Supervise students during arrival, recess and dismissal
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of successful classroom (or similar) teaching experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Native fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- Current teaching certification or licensure
- Demonstrated academic excellence
- Satisfactory criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
- M.A. or M.Ed.
- Experience teaching PYP, IPC, project-based learning, Reggio Emilia, or similar programs
- Specialist certification (reading, math)
- Ability to teach other content areas (arts, coding, PE, etc.)
*This position is a part-time teaching post. Earliest required working period: 6-11 September 2024.
Qualified candidates will be remunerated with a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
