The appointee will be responsible for providing chauffeur services for the President, his/her family members, guests, and household staff, ensuring comfortable, safe, and efficient transportation to and from various destinations. They will need to work flexibly, plan the best routes, anticipate needs for pickups and drop-offs, and manage daily appointments effectively. The appointee should stay informed about the latest road traffic regulations and safety guidelines. Extensive experience in caring for sedans is required, along with the ability to maintain the vehicle in clean and comfortable condition.
Additionally, the appointee must follow instructions and perform any ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the President and the Head of Household Staff (President Lodge).
Applicants must hold a valid driving license and have at least 7 years of experience in chauffeur services. Experience of providing such services at a university is highly recommended.
The ideal candidate should be immaculate, discreet, multi-skilled, and highly organized. They must also be diligent, maintain confidentiality, and possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, combined with a high level of initiative, are essential.
Good geographical knowledge is required, as well as the ability to handle unexpected traffic conditions. The position may require work beyond regular office hours, and the appointee will need to live in staff quarters. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
