Policy Research and Advocacy
Officer (Ref No: HKCSS/071/2024)
Two-year renewable contract
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage social service, health service and policy research on social development of Hong Kong
- Advocate/campaign for selected issues related to social services and social policies
- Engage and work with various stakeholders and parties concerning subjects related to various social services and social policies
- To perform data analytic tasks and develop new database with partners
- Assist in providing support and professional opinions to working groups or committees concerned in the Council
Requirements:
- Degree in social sciences and public health, or related discipline of social/human services
- Experience in conducting social service/health/policy research and advocacy
- Familiar with various statistical tools preferred
- High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, innovative, and good communication skills. Report writing is required.
- Demonstrated capacity in collaborating with different stakeholders and working independently
- Demonstrated knowledge of statistics, data analysis, spss, etc
5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
