Ocean Pricing Executive/Senior Ocean Pricing Executive

Job Overview:

The Pricing Executive will assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies for logistics services. This role involves analyzing pricing data, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring pricing accuracy to drive profitability and competitiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to take certain actions to improve competition.
• Obtain rate quotations and handle the rate enquiries
• Maintain strong relationships with ocean carriers and handle the carrier service contract and relevant information broadcast
• Maintain and update pricing in the rate matrix
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and pricing manager to ensure pricing aligns with business objectives.

To work with ocean carriers to manage carrier allocation and capacity planning

Ensure seamless internal coordination in the utilization of allocations

Monitor allocation performance.  Adjust and swap allocation as needed to meet changing demands

Handle other ad hoc projects or responsibilities as requested by management

Requirements:

• Form 7, DSE, or higher education level.
• At least 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding field. Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Ocean Pricing Executive
• TPEB Ocean trade (from Asia to USA/Canada) experience must be a priority

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis software. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with logistics software and pricing optimization tools.
• Familiarity with industry trends.
