Network engineer

Job Description:

• Provide on-site technical support for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems and network infrastructure.
• Perform daily health checks and monitoring tasks as assigned.
• Handle incident and problem tickets raised by end users or the monitoring system, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
• Coordinate with off-site support teams and vendors for issue resolution and patch deployment.
• Maintain system documentation, update inventory records, and assist in the preparation of technical reports.
• Provide support for system upgrades, hardware replacements, software patches, and configuration changes.
• Participate in disaster recovery drills and assist in backup/restore operations.
• Communicate effectively with the client to understand requirements, provide status updates, and manage expectations.

Requirements:

• High Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Holder of valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in network and IT support roles and system administration
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN networking, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with monitoring tools, backup systems, and enterprise-grade storage is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to handle pressure and respond quickly to critical issues
• Experience working in a customer-facing environment, preferably in the airline or service industry
• Proficiency in Putonghua English (spoken and written).
