Merchandiser/ Sr. Merchandiser

Responsibilities:

• Handling sourcing, cost analysis, price negotiation, order follow up and product development
• Prepare merchandising information and report for project updates ie cost sheets, purchase orders, sales contracts and relevant documents;
• Monitor order tracking activities to meet quantity, quality, price, order specification inspection and delivery requirements
• Arrange sample and ensure to meet customers’ requirements
• Work with factories, customer and Shipping team to ensure on time shipment
• Work with Engineering and QA team to ensure product comply with US, European and other countries regulations;
• Facilitate order placement process with suppliers;

Requirements / Competencies:

• At least 5 years of working experience of merchandising within a trading company environment; more experience will be considered as a Senior Merchandiser.
• Knowledge in Housewares /Kitchenware products is advantageous.
• Knowledge in stainless steel and plastic is preferred.
• Dynamic, hands on and with "can do" attitude and “out of the box” thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua);
• A team player, excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Mature, initiative, stable, detail-minded with strong sense of responsibility
• Occasionally travel to PRC is required.
