Merchandiser (Promotional Products)

Solo midocean is the largest player in the personalized Clothing & Gifts industry in Europe, dedicated to delivering custom design products to our vast network of distributors. We are seeking a detailed orientated and experienced Merchandiser to join our procurement team and help them process the growing number of orders and inquiries for fully customized products.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

To process efficient and effectively the daily inquiries and orders within the given product categories and according to our quality and compliance standards. The tasks involves quoting, procurement, monitoring quality control and logistics. The goal is to increase the number orders and service level to our customers.

Duties

• Process inquiries > prioritize and provide good quality replies within the service level agreement
• Take full responsibility from the inquiry stage; order received till shipment.
• Keep track of suppliers’ production plan to ensure on time delivery
• Be result orientated > offer solutions, alternatives: each inquiry and order is a chance.
• Handle complaints and discuss/negotiate solutions with the factories and/or sales.
• Conducting research: understand market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape in the industry.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of our products and solve any arising issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Quality control: ensure product standards are met and maintained throughout production.

 Your experience

• Organized and an eye for detail;
• Result-orientated team-player;
• Good command in English and Mandarin
• Merchandising or procurement experience
• Good command of Excel, Word, PPT and so on for office software.
