Merchandiser

Our Hong Kong office is located in East Tsim Sha Tsui, a convenient 10-minute walk from the TST East or Hung Hom MTR stations. We are looking to recruit a Merchandiser with experience in managing direct to retail global accounts for mass market. The ideal candidate should be energetic, willing to learn new concepts, with a high attention to detail and a passion to deliver exemplary customer service.

 Role KPIs includes:
 

• Efficiently processing customers POs across your assigned accounts.
• Bespoke product & packaging development (where required) on your retail accounts.
• Managing critical paths end to end and ensuring on time deliveries.
• Engaging in cost negotiations with suppliers to ensure we meet client’s pricing pressure, while also protecting the company’s margin.
• Developing & maintaining strong/cooperative relationships with your factory contacts; retail customers and your colleagues across the NPD/Design – QA/QC – Shipping teams.
• Ensuring efficient processing of all admin functions in relation to retailer set up forms, sample arrangement, etc.
• Assisting the merchandising team with multiple admin duties across your slow season.

You must have experience working in a fast-paced environment. You must have a good command (spoken and written) in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. You will have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a merchandising role. You will be a natural problem-solver and excellent communicator. You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience with an ERP system is highly regarded, but not necessary as full training will be provided.  Immediate availability is preferred.
