Merchandiser - Intimate & Knits

Reporting to the Senior Merchandise Manager, the incumbent is responsible for sourcing and merchandising duties, from development to production, via interaction with external and internal cross functional partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure T&A calendar and seasonal milestones are being met and elevate to line manager as needed, including system update, merchant call dates, merchant PO issuance, pattern and graphic art send dates and so on.
• Interface with cross functional team members to ensure approval deadlines are met.
• Procure, review and assess new cost quotes, analyze history and elevate costing challenges to line manager for costing options and negotiations.
• Communicate daily with overseas vendors regarding style development, production and delivery information.
• Review outstanding issues on production status, take action accordingly and elevate to line manager as needed.
• Work with HQ buyers and planners on garment cost, buys, production planning, liabilities and delivery.
• Attend touch base meetings with Color team, Tech team, QA team, Testing team and other cross functional teams.
• Perform other duties as required inclusive of ownership of corporate special orders projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience in intimate and knits, with strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to act as a strong liaison between departments
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Detail-oriented, proactive, computer literate, ability to manage multi-tasks as well as having a high sense of urgency
