Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Hong Kong International Airport, T2

Working hours: Office hours

Job Description:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including preventive maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work through CMMS.
• Preparing and submitting the Technical Report upon resolving the incidents.
• Propose improvements on preventive maintenance programs to prevent breakdowns and improve performance.
• Monitor and manage the availability of spare parts and work closely with the Spare Parts Coordinator and the Maintenance Coordinator.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate with the maintenance partner on maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Work effectively with other engineers, technicians, and operational staff.
• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Thrive in an environment that prioritizes safety above all else.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A technical bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
• At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance of automated Baggage Handling System, Material Handling Systems or similar industries having high-level and low-level control systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, processes, and maintenance procedures.
• The ability to analyze performance data, diagnose mechanical problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Knowledge of and experience with Maximo or equivalent CMMS.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple demands, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good Reading, Writing, and Communication skills in the English language and local language.
