Manager - Audit and Assurance (HK and US Capital Markets)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver quality audit services to clients
• Work on other engagements relating to the reporting accountant for initial public offerings
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
• Identify opportunities for service enhancement and actively participate in business development initiatives
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to provide strategic insights to clients.
• Ensure adequate and appropriate policies, procedures and controls to comply with the relevant regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Degree holder, major in accounting or other related disciplines
• Qualified member of recognized professional CPA organization i.e. HKICPA, CPA Australia, ACCA, AICPA
• At least 5 years of audit experience, gained with sizable accounting firm
• Solid audit experience in PCAOB engagement of IPO and annual audits as well as knowledge in US capital market
• Extensive experience in auditing listed companies, with a strong knowledge of IPOs, Listing Rules, and capital-raising activities in Hong Kong and US capital market
• Strong written and verbal communication, technical and project management skills
• Proven leadership abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team management
• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Occasional travel may be required
