Junior Finance Analyst

Job Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

   • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
   • Perform detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

2. Accounting and Reconciliation:

   • Handle daily accounting tasks and ensure accurate record-keeping.
   • Conduct reconciliations of accounts, transactions, and ledgers.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

   • Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
   • Monitor budget implementation and variance analysis.

4. Audit and Compliance:

   • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
   • Maintain adherence to internal controls and company policies.

5. Cryptocurrency and Derivatives Focus:

   • Assist in financial operations related to cryptocurrency derivatives and asset management.
   • Stay updated on industry developments and trends.

6. Ad-hoc Projects:

   Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

1. Education:

   • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields.
   • Candidates with a Master's in Financial Engineering are welcome to apply (fresh graduates acceptable).

2. Experience:

   • 1-2 years of work experience in a Big Four accounting firm is preferred.
   • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

3. Skills:

   • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
   • Familiarity with cryptocurrency and derivatives markets is a plus.

4. Attributes:

   • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
   • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

5. Language:

   Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
