Job Description 

The IT Manager will oversee the organization’s information technology operations, focusing on managing and upgrading the current ERP system, implementing AI-driven solutions, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and overseeing hardware maintenance. This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI technologies, automation, and enterprise resource planning to enhance business performance. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

1) IT Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals. Proactively understand user requirements to improve the company’s hardware, network and software solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, specifically AI and RPA, to improve operational efficiency.

2) ERP System Management:

• Lead the upgrade and enhancement of the current ERP system, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in ERP processes.

3) AI and RPA Integration:

• Lead AI and RPA projects from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI and RPA applications in business operations.

4) Hardware and Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of IT hardware, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Manage inventory and procurement of hardware to meet organizational needs.
• Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.

5) Cybersecurity:

• Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
• Monitor systems for security breaches and respond to incidents.

6) Team Leadership:

• Manage the IT team, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

7) Vendor and Budget Management:

• Perform product evaluation, vendor selection, vendor management and procurement of IT solutions / products.
• Negotiate contracts with IT vendors and software providers. Ensure all the contractual commitments and deliverables are successfully delivered by vendors on time and within budget.
• Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

Education and Experience required 

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• Extensive years of relevant working experience in IT project management and at least 5-7 years of supervisory level role
• Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Experience in implementing ERP systems, with a strong understanding of C# and Java programming, as well as proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Strong understanding of AI, RPA technologies
• Excellent project management, analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with internal stakeholders and external organizations.
• Occasional travel to operation sites is required.
