IT Infrastructure Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a small team of operators in day-to-day data centre IT infrastructure operations
• Monitor servers, storage, network, and environmental systems using monitoring tools
• Respond to system alerts, investigate issues, and perform first-level troubleshooting
• Escalate incidents to the appropriate teams as per standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform health checks on hardware and software systems
• Support routine maintenance tasks, including patching, backups, and system restarts
• Maintain accurate operational logs, incident reports, and shift handover records
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior operators
• Coordinate vendor maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting activities
• Allocate resources effectively to meet scheduled operations and client requests
• Handle incident management and escalate critical issues as needed
• Support production rollouts, change management, and configuration updates
• Maintain accurate inventory and prepare regular operational reports
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for planned and ad hoc tasks

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data centre IT infrastructure operations (less experience may be considered for junior role)
• Holder of ITIL certification is preferred
• Familiarity with data centre IT infrastructure (server, storage and network) monitoring
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, Linux, storage systems and network devices
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Self-driven, proactive, and well-organized
• Communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
