Interior Designer

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our Project Management Team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping and refining the design of our flexible office spaces —enhancing user experience through smart space planning and thoughtful design execution. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external contractors to bring design concepts to life, from initial sketches to fully built environments.

Location: Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

Reporting To: Senior Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Management Team to develop new interior design concepts for flexible office spaces.
• Customize creative designs for each new office, ensuring alignment with the local market context, building architecture, and Compass Offices’ brand values — while maintaining design consistency across all locations.
• Conduct effective space planning to maximize economic performance, functionality, and aesthetics.
• Support the Sales Team by providing layout modifications or custom enterprise solutions tailored to prospective clients.
• Prepare conceptual and schematic design drawings to communicate design intent.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure accuracy and quality during the interior fit-out phase.
• Maintain a comprehensive drawings database and up-to-date as-built records across all locations.
• Uphold and evolve internal design guidelines to ensure consistency and innovation.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in office or commercial interior design, ideally within corporate or flexible workspace environments.
• Proven expertise in space planning and functional layout optimization.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp; experience with Photoshop, Enscape, or other visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong creativity, design intuition, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team player.
• Fluent in Cantonese and proficient in Business English.
• Experience working within an architectural or design practice is highly desirable.
