Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, responsible for managing our IT infrastructure with a focus on systems installation, maintenance, and security. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and security of our hardware, software systems, and cloud services.

The Job

IT Infrastructure Management:

• Set up, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance
• ⁠Implement regular network security protocols and data backup procedures to safeguard crucial information and systems

Cloud Services Management (AWS):

• Design, deploy, and manage robust and scalable AWS environments to support business operations
• ⁠Analyze AWS usage to recommend cost-effective strategies for resource utilization and adherence to security best practices
• ⁠Continuously monitor AWS service performance, availability, and security to ensure compliance with organizational standards

Microsoft 365 Management:

• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of Microsoft 365 services to enhance collaboration and productivity across the organization
• ⁠Ensure proper user administration, licensing, and support for Microsoft 365 applications.
• ⁠Optimize Microsoft 365 usage to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness

IT Security Management:

• Formulate and uphold comprehensive IT security policies and protocols to safeguard organizational data while fostering cybersecurity awareness through training programs
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, oversee incident response strategies, and manage investigations related to security breaches
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the organization’s security posture and mitigate potential risks

AI Implementation & Integration:

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI technologies to optimize infrastructure performance, improve security, and automate IT processes
• Lead initiatives to integrate AI-powered solutions into existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability

The People

• ⁠⁠Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• ⁠Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the network/infrastructure field and at least 2 years of experience in IT project management
• ⁠Experience with cloud management, particularly AWS
• ⁠Experience with Microsoft 365 management and optimization
• ⁠Strong understanding of IT security protocols and best practices
• Demonstrable interest in and understanding of AI technologies and their potential applications in enterprise IT
• Proven experience in tackling complex system integration problems and developing effective solutions
