Job Responsibilities:

• Requirement Management: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while liaising with users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure effective system solutions.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for business process improvements, system enhancements, or replacements to drive operational efficiency.
• Policy & Governance: Establish, review, and implement administration policies to ensure smooth and compliant business operations.
• Vendor & IT Coordination: Manage relationships with outsourced IT vendors, ensuring service levels, cybersecurity, and system stability are maintained.
• Project Leadership: Plan, monitor, and oversee system projects - resolving issues, coordinating testing, and ensuring timely, budget-compliant delivery.
• Solution Delivery: Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into functional designs and oversee implementation.
• Deployment Support: Coordinate system rollouts with users and IT teams, ensuring seamless transitions.
• KPI Development: Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department to measure operational and project success.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Studies or Information System or other related disciplines.
• CISSP/CISA/CISM holder will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of solid IT/IS experience, in which 3 years at management level in the insurance sector.
• Deep understanding of local regulatory landscape, including HKIA guidelines and cybersecurity obligations.
• Hands on experience in using PolyNet and HKFRS/17 is preferred.
• The ideal candidate should have B2C/B2B2C e-commerce experience, familiarity with core insurance systems (policy admin/underwriting/claims), and strong general insurance product knowledge is a must.
• Strong working knowledge of networks configuration and maintenance, Window server and desktop environment.
• Self-motivated, analytical-minded and a good team player with good supervisory skills to coach team members.
• Occasional travel to Macau is required.

• Good command in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
