Finance and Accounting Manager / Assistant Manager

What you’ll be doing?

To lead the finance operations team.  This role will oversee the full spectrum of financial activities including general ledger, financial closing, reporting, auditing, and transactional finance operations (AP, AR, and Cash Management)

Financial Reporting & Closing

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders

General Ledger & Compliance

• Oversee general ledger integrity and ensure proper classification of transactions
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS)

Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes
• Implement and monitor internal controls
• Ensure documentation and compliance with audit, regulatory and industrial requirements

Operational Finance Oversight

• Supervise AP, AR, and Cash Management functions
• Review transactions and reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow and support treasury activities
• Oversee master data management and asset management
• Participate ad hoc projects and initiatives as required

Team Leadership & Development

• Manage and mentor finance team members

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
   

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Qualified accountant, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP, including strong knowledge of FICO
• Experience with SAP Fiori interface is an advantage
• Proven track record in financial closing, reporting, general ledger management, and audit coordination
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and financial best practices
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective team management abilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
