F F & E Designer / Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager

J. Candice Interior Architectsis looking for:

F F & E DESIGNER/ SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER/ PROJECT MANAGER
to join our talented team creating notable commercial venues across Asia

F F & E DESIGNER

Job responsibilities:

• Select furniture, lighting and artwork
• Liaise with local and overseas vendors and suppliers for quotations
• Maintain and update library
• Active research for new products, materials and finishes
• Assist designers with finishes and materials selection for projects
• Assist with onsite styling and photo shoot

Job requirements:

• F.5/ Diploma holder/ University Degree in Interior Design or related discipline
• Relevant work experience in Interior design / visual merchandising / product design
• Experience in hospitality and clubhouse is an advantage
• Skills with custom furniture design is a bonus
• Good command of written and presentation skills in English and Mandarin
• Well organised, attention to details and good interpersonal skill
• Able to work independently and self-motivated
• Willing to travel to China for procurement and liaise with factory
• Immediate availability is preferred

SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

Job responsibilities:

• Conceptual design and detailing
• Prepare full set of construction drawings and detailed drawings
• Create 3D model in SketchUp/ Enscape
• Prepare presentation boards and brochures
• Material and furniture selections

Job requirements:

• F.5/ Diploma holder/ University Degree in Interior Design or related discipline
• At least 8 years or above experience for Senior Interior Designer position; at least 3 years or above experience for Interior Designer position
• High proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, Detailed Drawings (Enscape is a plus)
• The ability to hand sketch is an advantage
• Good command of written English and Chinese
• Good spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Strong creative and layout sense
• Responsible, SELF-DRIVEN, good communication skills, well organized, hardworking with TEAM SPIRIT
• Able to work under pressure and INDEPENDENTLY
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Interior Designer
• Immediate availability is preferred

PROJECT MANAGER

Job responsibilities:

• Prepare work programme and resource planning
• Prepare documentation and project administration
• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties
• Coordinate with client's representatives, architects, structural engineers, E&M consultants, QS consultants and other relevant parties
• Site work supervision and providing immediate solutions on-site
• Prepare technical submissions including materials, method statements, safety documents etc.

Job requirements:

• Diploma or relevant academic qualification preferred
• Min. 5 years of site experience in interior fitting-out project
• Proficiency in AutoCAD drawing is a must
• Proven knowledge of E&M is a must
• Proficiency in Office and Excel
• Experience in BIM system is a bonus
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Self-motivated, responsible and hardworking
• Able to perform multi-tasks and work under pressure
