Design & Project Engineers (Mechanical Equipment)

We are looking for highly motivated professionals in the following positions:

At all levels: Asst. Engineer, Engineer, & Senior Engineer

Overall Responsibilities

Reporting to senior management, the position will be responsible for the engineering design and project follow-up functions of the department with focus on product design and new product features development.  It is a very challenging position calling for someone with strong technical and communication skills, as well as highly motivated for team cooperation.

Detailed duties are:

• Intensive design work of using SOLIDWORK and carry out Finite Element Analysis of structural optimization
• Coordinate and prepare drawings according to design
• Perform design and structural calculations for steel works & construction equipment
• Write quality plan, method specifications, and prepare BQ (Bill of Quantities)
• Develop 2D, 3D and Animated presentations according to requirements.
• Assure suitability and innovation of products and processes from a technological and design standpoint
• Conduct tender review
• Actively update oneself for best-in-class technologies in the market
• Good experience of machine design
• Solid experience of hydraulic circuit design
• Participate in the planning of overall Product development and production;
• Cooperate closely with Sales & Costing team to assure customer satisfaction
• Support design projects at group level, participate in meetings, sharing technical information and "best-practices”.
• Provide technical supports to Sales team, attend meetings with customers
• Supervision in construction site only when required
• Any related duties as assigned from time to time

 Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or related discipline
• Proficiency in AutoCad, Solid Works, Finite Element Analysis Simulation, Excel Visual etc.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in related industry. Title & remuneration package will commensurate with experience & abilities
• Site visits and travel to PRC may be required
• Possess costing and budgeting concept in Product / Project Development
• Familiar with product design verification, QC, and  production methods an advantage
• Familiar with computer operations engineering development software
• Proficiency in English, Chinese (Putonghua & Cantonese) and good interpersonal skills
• Wide spectrum of engineering knowledge, adaptable to new requirements and can work under pressure
• Driving license is advantage
