Responsibilities

  • Group Procurement Management: Be responsible for the planning and execution of the group's global procurement work, formulate and optimize procurement strategies, ensure the timeliness, cost-effectiveness and quality stability of procurement of raw materials, equipment and services, and meet production and operation needs.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and improve the global supplier management system, including supplier development, evaluation, screening, negotiation and partnership maintenance, promote supplier performance improvement and reduce supply chain risks.
  • Cost Control: In-depth analysis of procurement cost composition, and continuously reduce procurement costs through optimization of procurement processes, centralized procurement, strategic negotiations, etc., to create cost advantages for the group.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage the group procurement team, clarify the responsibilities and goals of team members, organize professional training, and improve the overall business capabilities and collaboration efficiency of the team.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration: Maintain close communication and collaboration with production, business, R&D, finance and other departments to ensure that procurement plans match production plans, sales, and R&D needs, and ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirement

1. Bachelor degree or above, majors in supply chain management, business administration, international trade, etc. are preferred.

2. More than 10 years of experience in purchasing management in manufacturing companies, including at least 5 years of experience in purchasing team management. Experience in purchasing management in multinational companies or with factories in China, Vietnam, the US, etc. are preferred, and familiar with the purchasing markets, laws and regulations, and cultural differences in different countries.

3. Professional ability:

 Proficient in purchasing process and supply chain management knowledge, with rich experience in supplier development, negotiation and cost control.

 Strong data analysis ability, able to drive purchasing decisions through data and optimize purchasing strategies.

4. Language: Fluent in English (proficient in listening, speaking, reading and writing), and can communicate with international suppliers and overseas teams.

5. Comprehensive quality:

 Possess excellent communication and coordination skills, leadership skills, team management skills and organizational coordination skills, and can effectively lead the team to achieve goals.

 Keen to market insight, strong negotiation skills and business judgment, and be good at grasping market trends and business opportunities.

 Have good professional ethics and professionalism, strong sense of responsibility, excellent stress resistance, and be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and domestic and foreign business trips.

 Outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems: can quickly identify various problems in procurement and supply chain links, such as supplier default, raw material shortage, abnormal cost fluctuations, logistics obstruction, etc.; through systematic analysis of the root causes of the problem, combined with industry experience and data support, formulate practical solutions, and effectively promote implementation, timely resolve risks, and ensure the stable operation of the supply chain; in the face of complex and changing cross-border procurement environments and emergencies, can quickly make judgments and take countermeasures to minimize losses.

 Clear logical thinking, outstanding planning and execution capabilities, and have the potential to gradually assume expanded responsibilities such as planning, warehousing and logistics management.
