Database Operations Engineer

About the role

Join our dynamic team at HongKe Technology Co., Limited as a Database Operations Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our database infrastructure, supporting the critical information systems that power our business. You will play a key part in maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of our database systems.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist clients in the consultation and technical guidance for database software implementation. Based on client requirements, help design feasible technical solutions (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis) and work closely with sales, marketing, and technical departments to drive project execution.
2. Perform functional testing, troubleshoot issues, and establish reporting mechanisms according to client needs.
3. Conduct technical prototype design, testing, and simulation of application scenarios, write user manuals and technical documentation, and clearly present to non-technical clients through presentations and explanations.
4. Participate in exchanges and learning with domestic and international technical experts to continuously improve database architecture design and maintenance capabilities.
5. Based on product knowledge and accumulated use cases, write technical articles about the product and lead product technical training, briefings, and seminars.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field; 3-5 years relevant experience.
2. Basic IT and database knowledge including network setup and operations.
3. Experience with common databases such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis.
4. Strong communication skills to support sales and marketing teams.
5. Quick learner with good logic thinking, familiar with AI tools to boost work efficiency.
