Data Operations Analyst

Job Description:

As a Data Operations Analyst, you will have chance to participate in our day-to-day operations, such as performing qualitative and quantitative analysis on customer’s behavior, optimizing operational flow, assisting tech team in developing internal applications, as well as designing and implementing automated mechanisms for our business operations.​

Responsibilities:

●      Automate manual procedures with the use of Python/VBA/Google Apps Script macros

●      Collect and analyze business data on our day-to-day business processes to identify trends, patterns and insights our products

●      Cooperate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate into reports, dashboard and data visualization

●      Work closely with the Finance and Accounting teams to understand fund flow structures, reconciliation requirements, and reporting needs. Implement data validation and reconciliation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

●      Hands-on day-to-day business operations related to our products

●      Optimize internal operational procedures

●      Participate in the development process of our internal tools

●      Any other ad-hoc tasks related to operations and data

Requirements​​:

●      Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Intelligence / Operations Management / Statistics / Information Systems / Computer Science or Equivalent

●      Proficient in Excel/Google Sheet formula

●      Experience and knowledge in the following skills will be an advantage:

1. MySQL or any other similar RDBMS

2. PowerBIor any other similar visualization software

3. VBA, Google Apps Script
4. Postman

●      Previous experience in Fintech, E-commerce and Marketplace is a plus

●      Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail

●      Ability to translate any quantitative and qualitative findings into actionable plans

●      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of written/spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese

●      Ability to work under fast-paced environment

●      A good team player, independent, responsible, and has a strong desire to learn and understand new technologies

●      Have a winning mindset and always hustle to achieve goals
