Data Centre Operator (Tsuen Wan & TKO, few vacancies)

Job Responsibilities

·         Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for scheduled and ad hoc activities

·         Perform equipment installation, cables installation, equipment decommissions and housekeeping of the data centre

·         Incident handling, problem troubleshooting and escalation to seniors and management

·         Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare reports

·         Exhibit quality workmanship on all work

·         Company will provide training workshops and on-the-job training to all new joiner

·         Monitor the data centre environment such as air conditioning and humidity levels, fire protection equipment

·         Monitor system to identify any system malfunctions and initiate corrective action to maintain schedules and to ensure integrity of production and outputs

·         Responsible for the basic operation of the computer systems and associated peripherals

·         Manage media include hard discs, SSDs and tapes

Requirements:

• Technical Institute graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline prefer but not must
• Experienced in Data Centre and Structured Cabling
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English
• Discipline, self-initiative, self-motivate
• Able to lift 20kg weight

Location:

• Tsuen Wan & Tseung Kwan O & Chai Wan
• Monthly working hour: around 160 - 168 hour
• Shift duty based on roster cover 24/7 data centre operation
