Data Center Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems and infrastructure within the data center environment.
• Perform regular inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of electrical systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and upgrades of critical data center systems, adhering to industry regulations.
• Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects, focusing on energy efficiency and system optimization.
• Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications and maintenance logs, related to data center operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance preventive maintenance plans tailored to data center requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in facilities engineering within a data center.
• Valid Electrical Worker Grade A License.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with data center operations and best practices.
• First aid certification would be an advantage.
