Data Analytics Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Define project scope and establish clear milestones for data-related initiatives based on business demand

Partner with PMO to prioritize and manage the data function's project pipeline

Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable project plans

Develop project timelines, resource estimates, and delivery roadmaps

Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks or scope changes

Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders

Create and maintain project documentation including scope statements, requirement specifications, and status reports

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of working experience as a Business Analyst

Fluency in Cantonese (required)

Proven experience on data-related projects

Strong expertise in project scoping, milestone setting, and demand management

Experience working with PMO functions or in project management environments

Knowledge of at least one data domain (e.g., data warehousing, analytics, data governance, data quality) is preferred

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
