Creative Designer - Beauty

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Creative Designer to join our regional marketing team and oversee the creative direction for our brand's Asia business channels. In this role, you will be responsible for managing design-related projects, ensuring consistency and aesthetic alignment with our brand across all touchpoints. Your expertise will be vital in driving engagement with our brand throughout the region.

As the Creative Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Asia marketing team to align design objectives and develop effective communication tools and materials. From conceptualization to final output, you will be involved in creating regional and local assets such as multimedia designs, illustration assets, social media posts, storyboards, online/offline graphic design collaterals, event designs, visual merchandising support, store designs, and premium/gift designs. Your work will be done in partnership with the guidance and support of our brand's headquarters.

Position Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the creative direction for our brand's Asia business channels.
• Manage design-related projects, ensuring consistency and aesthetic alignment with our brand.
• Collaborate with the Asia marketing team to align design objectives and drive engagement with our brand.
• Develop regional and local communication tools/materials based on brand strategies, from concept to final output.
• Manage visual plans and digital designs for our brand's Asia websites and various e-tail channels.
• Coordinate and manage production for design/creative projects, translating concepts into tangible deliverables.
• Art direct local production works, including photo/video shoots and retouching.
• Strategize local visual merchandising adaptations relevant to specific markets across Asia.
• Serve as the main design/creative point of contact and strategist for the Asia region.
• Design creative solutions that incorporate the latest trends while adhering to brand guidelines.
• Develop branding and design guidelines, providing clear guidance to local designers, and conducting regular design audits to ensure consistency.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Design and Creative Technologies, with expertise in Graphic Design and Visual Communications.
• 3 years of retail creative experience, preferably with luxury brands.
• Proficient in Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro). Motion graphics and video editing skills (After Effects) are a plus.
• Experience leading video/photo shoots and editing for diverse social media platforms and multimedia.
• Versatility in working with various creative formats: videos, computer graphics/illustrations, digital and web design, 3D rendering, print, and production.
• Skilled in vendor management and knowledgeable about the production process from ideation to artwork to production.
• Familiarity with print and production material formats/specifications.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong typographic skills, color theory, and composition.
• Demonstrated creativity and adaptability in catering to diverse markets in Asia.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese languages. Proficiency in other Asian languages is advantageous.
• Exceptional multitasking and project management abilities.
• Self-motivated with high work standards and integrity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong team player.
