Computer Vision & Speech AI Engineer

We seek a Computer Vision & Speech AI Engineer to work on handwriting recognition, ASR, and language learning applications. You will help design multimodal AI systems that combine text, speech, and image recognition.

Responsibilities

• Build computer vision models for handwriting/character recognition.
• Develop ASR-based pronunciation and fluency evaluation pipelines.
• Integrate speech + vision AI modules into educational platforms.
• Work with React Native/Unity developers to deploy features on iOS and Android.
• Conduct experiments to improve recognition accuracy in real-world classroom settings.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Strong background in computer vision and applied ML.
• Familiarity with OCR, handwriting recognition, and CV frameworks (OpenCV, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Hands-on experience with ASR frameworks (Whisper, ESPnet, Kaldi).
• Good understanding of Chinese/tonal language learning challenges preferred.
